40 Glocc (G-Unit) | Interview

From Colton, CA, 40 Glocc is a hip hop artist and actor, currently signed to Infamous Records, G-Unit Records, and G-Unit West. At age 8, he moved with his mother to the Inland Empire district of Colton in 1997 and formed the Zoo Crew with local friends. In 2003, 40 Glocc released his first solo album, The Jakal, with features from Bad Azz, Ras Kass, Kurupt, Spice 1, and more. Featured producers on the album were DJ Battlecat and Dr. Dre. In 2010, 40 Glocc signed Ras Kass to his label Zoo Life. Later that year, 40 Glocc released a digital street album called COPS, with features from Jayo Felony, Tony Yayo, and more. In 2011, 40 Glocc and Spider Loc released an album, Graveyard Shift. 40 was recently featured in the 2011 film Rhyme & Punishment; a documentary narrated by KRS-One that chronicles rap artists who have been to prison.
