Adrian Younge | Interview

Adrian Younge is a composer, arranger, instrumentalist, and music producer from Los Angeles, CA. Also a film editor, business owner, and entertainment law professor, Adrian played bass and keyboards in a band during the late 1990s. He learned to play several instruments and experimented with analog recordings, which resulted in the Italian-influenced EP in 2000, Venice Dawn. In 2009, he edited and provided the music for the soundtrack of the film, Black Dynamite. In 2011, Adrian expanded Venice Dawn into a longer work called Something About April, which was another nostalgic recording of 1960s and 1970s psychedelic soul. In 2013, Adrian released a soul collaboration, Adrian Younge Presents The Delfonics, and a Ghostface Killah collaboration, Twelve Reasons To Die.
