Doap Nixon | Interview
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Doap Nixon began writing at age 12. Using his emotions as fuel to express himself, he would join cyphers and perform at house parties with Jedi Mind Tricks and Outerspace. Doap’s most notable work began in 2007 by being featured on 8 songs from Army Of The Pharaoh’s second album, Ritual Of The Battle. In 2008, Doap released a solo album, Sour Diesel. In 2010, he was featured on 5 songs from Army Of The Pharaoh’s album, The Unholy Terror. In 2011, Doap Nixon released his second solo album, Gray Poupon, as well as his third and final solo album, Doap Traffiking.
