iCON The Mic King | Interview

In the streets of Philadelphia, iCON The Mic King is the catalyst for a crusade much bigger than one person. iCON is no stranger to paying dues. His work ethic is evidenced by a recording catalogue stretching back to 1995, as well as an impressive international touring schedule yielding passport stamps on three continents in seventeen countries. iCON teamed up with producer Chum The Skrilla Guerilla in 2007 to release the album, Mike & The Fatman, with features from Killah Priest and Blue Raspberry. Later that year, Rent Money Music 2 was released, with features from Silent Knight, Jus Allah, Kwote Scriptures, and more. In 2009, iCON and Chum released Flavor Ade to bring back 90s hip hop with features from Has-Lo, Slug of Atmosphere, and Elzhi.
