Louis Logic | Interview
Louis Logic is an emcee, musician, and singer from Brooklyn, NY. His interest in hip hop began at age 11 after hearing “Roxanne, Roxanne” by U.T.F.O. His debut record, “Factotum”, released in 1999 as an anthem to drinkers. He later collaborated with Jedi Mind Tricks, MF Doom, and Malik B (The Roots). In 2002, Louis had a number of features on the popular EP, The Godz Must Be Crazy, by underground collective, The Demigodz. His solo career was taken serious in 2003 after releasing Sin-A-Matic, an album full of dark romantic comedy. In 2004, he released Alcohol/Ism with producer Jay Love, under the group name The Odd Couple. He also formed a band, Spork Kills, and released a project with a surf/alternative/indie rap sound. In 2006, Louis released a more mature Misery Loves Comedy album with long-time producer J.J. Brown. In 2013, he is set to released Look On The Blight Side, completely self-produced with live instrument features.
