Nat Anglin | Interview
Nat Anglin is an emcee from Boston MA, now residing in Los Angeles, CA. His music reflects wide variety of topics as it relates to his personal journey in life. Nat was featured in the XXL article “15 Boston Rappers You Should Know”. In 2011, Nat released his first album The Bartender, followed by 20 Something in 2012. His latest project was released in 2014, titled Ways To Go. He’s performed at A3C Festival in Atlanta and SXSW in Austin, TX. Nat currently lives in Los Angeles and is part of a west coast Boston-collective called BosAngeles. His next album is scheduled to release in the summer of 2017. In this video interview, Nat talks about his early memories in Boston listening to Run DMC and his later influence from Llyod Banks. As Nat became more invested in being a lyricist, he tells a story about his humble beginnings in the local scene, networking with and supporting other artists, and learning from them. He details some of the successes and challenges he’s has along his journey, as well as the impact that he is striving to leave behind. Check it out!
