Black Rob | Interview
Black Rob is an emcee from Harlem, NY. He signed to Bad Boy Records as early as 1996, appearing on records with 112, Total, Faith Evans, Mase, Puff Daddy, The Notorious B.I.G., Ol Dirty Bastard, The LOX, Busta Rhymes, Lil Kim, Tony Touch, and others. In 2000, Rob released his debut album, Life Story, which featured the hit single “Whoa!” and helped the album go platinum. His second album, The Black Rob Report, was released in 2005, and Jemal Mosley from Off The Block Entertainment began managing Rob’s career. In 2010, Rob signed to Duck Down Music and released the album, Game Tested, Streets Approved.
