DJ Remedy is an award-winning turntablist and renowned party DJ based in Baltimore, MD. Since the late 90s, Remedy has been featured weekly on Eminem’s Shade 45 Satellite Radio station, has won first place in the Scion Tuner Evolution DJ Battle and Baltimore DJ Championship, and has released a series of mixtapes under the Wax Chemistry imprint, moving over 500,000 units worldwide. Remedy has shared stages with Ice Cube, Method Man, Redman, Ghostface Killah, Sugar Hill Gang, Slick Rick, and more. Originally from Rhode Island, Remedy released the first mixtape on Wax Chemisty in 2004. In 2006, he hosted “Sunday Scratch”, a DJ session where DJs could participate via the Internet. That same year, Wax Chemisty 2 was released and received over 5,000 downloads, reaching an audience in North America, Europe, and Asia. In 2008, Wax Chemistry 3 moved over 20,000 copies from California to Japan. Remedy joined turntable legends Roc Raida and Q-Bert on stage during Virgin Fest 2009 and 2010.
