Ginger Coyle | Interview
From Southampton, NJ, Ginger Coyle is an indie, pop, soul, and retro singer, weaving conscious lyrics over acoustic guitar and piano. She has been writing and performing music professionally for 13 years, and in 2003, won her first demo deal on the Wayne Brady Show after taking first place in a talent search sponsored by Hard Rock. Ginger has shared stages with B.o.B., Flobots, Cobra Starship, and more. She has also toured the midwest with Third Eye Blind and was featured on the cover of PRICK Magazine. In 2011, Ginger won an annual songwriting competition by the Philadelphia Songwriter’s Project. Her winning song “Moon & Back” was written in 2008 after her hip hop band The Thunderkatz broke up.
