House Shoes | Interview
House Shoes is a hip hop producer and DJ from Detroit, MI. As a resident DJ for 10 years at St. Andrews Hall, he had personal influence over many emcees, producers, and DJs. He’s produced for the late J. Dilla, Proof, Elzhi, and Danny Brown, and has been a DJ for Black Milk, Guilty Simpson, Slum Village, and many others. Through his own label, House Shoes Recordings, Shoes pressed the classic Jay Dee Unreleased EP, Phat Kat’s Dedication To The Suckers 12”, and his own album, Loungin’. His latest album, Let It Go, includes features from The Alchemist, Roc Marciano, Black Milk, Nottz Raw, Danny Brown, Chali 2na, Moe Dirdee, Marvwon, Guilty Simpson, and more.
