Meyhem Lauren is an emcee from Queens, NY. His style is reminiscent of 90s hip hop. Meyhem’s debut appearance was on DJ J-Love’s 2004 mixtape, King Of What I Do Pt. 6. He’s been featured on countless mixtapes, DVDs, and consistent rotation on radio shows such as The Halftime Show, Squeeze Radio, Industry Shakedown Radio, and more. After working closely with J-Love for a few years, they collaborated on an album in 2010, Acknowledge Greatness with features from Ghostface Killah, Kool G Rap, M.O.P., Cormega, Large Professor, AZ, Cappadonna, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Roc Marciano, Thirstin Howl The 3rd, and more. In 2011, Meyhem released the two-disc album, Self-Induced Illness, which is a collection of unreleased songs with Just Blaze, Action Bronson, Raekwon, PF Cuttin, and more. In 2012, Meyhem released a highly praised mixtape, Respect The Fly Shit. His latest album in 2014, Silk Pyramids, was produced entirely by Buckwild of D.I.T.C. and features Action Bronson, PF Cuttin, AG Da Coroner, Troy Ave, Thirstin Howl The 3rd, and more.
