Ying Yang Twins | Interview
The Ying Yang Twins is a hip hop duo from Atlanta, GA. They first appeared in 2000 with the single “Whistle While You Twurk” from the album, Thug Walkin’. In 2003, they achieved mainstream success from recording the song “Get Low” with Lil Jon. Their 2005 album, Me & My Brother, went platinum with the help of the songs “Salt Shaker”, “Whats Happnin!”, and “Naggin'”. The Twins appeared on Britney Spears’ song “I Got That (Boom Boom)” for her album, In The Zone. Their next album, U.S.A. (United State of Atlanta), included the popular singles “Wait (The Whisper Song)”, “Badd”, and “Shake”. In 2006, the Twins collaborated with Wyclef Jean and Mr. Collipark on the album, Chemically Imbalanced. Most recently in 2013, the Ying Yang Twins have released a mixtape, Twurk Or Die.
