Sean Price is an emcee from Brownsville, Brooklyn. He is a member of the hip hop collective Boot Camp Clik and 1/2 of the group Heltah Skeltah, alongside rhyming partner Rockness. Price first appeared on the 1995 Smif-N-Wessun album Dah Shinin’ and made a bigger impact the following year with Heltah Skeltah’s debut album, Nocturnal. The group then released Magnum Force in 1998 and D.I.R.T. in 2008. Sean has contributed to four Boot Camp Clik albums from 1997 to 2007 and released a group album in 2011 with Guilty Simpson and Black Milk under the name Random Axe. He’s collaborated on countless songs and has been featured on albums of Jedi Mind Tricks, Snowgoons, DJ Babu, eMC, CunninLynguists, Wu-Tang Clan, Statik Selektah, Talib Kweli, La Coka Nostra, Onyx, Diabolic, and more. In 2005, Price released his solo debut album Monkey Barz, followed by Jesus Price Supastar in 2007 and Mic Tyson in 2012. His 2015 album, Songs In The Key Of Price, is expected to release in late summer/early fall.
