Shabaam Sahdeeq | Interview

Shabaam Sahdeeq, aka S-Dub, made his introduction into the rap game in the mid 90’s and had appearances with Rawkus Records, most notably “WW3” with Pharoahe Monche from the Soundbombing 2 compilation. Sahdeeq has been a heavy contributor to hip hop over the years and has stayed true to the culture since. His most recent albums are Break Glass with the Polyrhythm Addicts in 2007, Relentless (2008), Off Parole (2010), and Bullpen Sessionz (2010) mixtape with The Closers. Break Glass features Pharoahe Monche, Large Professor, Phonte (Little Brother), and Planet Asia. Relentless is hosted by Tony Touch and DJ J-Ronin, with features by Supastition, Torae, General Steele, Blaq Poet, Phonte, Casual, Sean Price, Jigmastas, Mr. Complex, Pharoahe Monch, Talib Kweli, and U.G. (Cella Dwellas). Off Parole features Emilio Rojas, Tiye Phoenix, Chaundon, Sha Stimuli, Skyzoo, Cella Dwellas, Sadat X, General Steele, Scienz of Life, and more. Bullpen Sessionz features Blaq Poet, REKS, Bekay, Planet Asia, Cymarshall Law, Krumbsnatcha, and more.
