What Inspires T-Rex

T-Rex is an emcee from Harlem, NY. As the cousin of battle rap legend Mook (formerly Murda Mook), Rex began battling at age 12. He is known for appearing on the SMACK DVDs and numerous battles in URL. Influenced by NWA and The Geto Boys, Rex dropped out of high school after talks with several record labels. Rex stayed loyal to his group Dot Mobb, had a music video feature on BET, and has toured with Jim Jones and Webstar. What Inspires Cortez

Cortez is an emcee from Brooklyn, NY. He is most popular for battling in leagues such as Lionz Den and more recently, URL. Cortez records music with the intention to educate others by personifying his struggle. He has been featured on MTV2′s Fight Klub and belongs to NY collectives known as Murda Ave and NYB. In 2009, Cortez released a mixtape called The Hidden Vault, hosted by DJ HOF. In 2011, he released another mixtape titled Exception 2 The Rule, hosted by SuperStar Jay & SMACK.
