The Halftime Show: 15 Years

DJ Eclipse and friends are celebrating The Halftime Show’s 15 year anniversary. Since 1998, WNYU’s 89.1FM has been a staple of New York City’s underground hip hop scene every Wednesday at 10:30pm. DJ Eclipse, DJ Riz, and Lynn Gonzalez created The Halftime Show to showcase new artists and play records that otherwise wouldn’t have an outlet. Many of these artists later became some of the biggest household names, such as Eminem, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, and Kanye West.
