Akbar | Interview
Akbar is an emcee from the Bronx, NY. After moving to Chicago as a teen, he saw the influence that music had on people. He met DJ Parker Lee while tagging and soon started to make songs together. In 1994, Akbar appeared on Jamalski’s album on the song “Akbar’s Groove”. In 2001, he released his debut album, Big Bang Boogie, followed by a collaboration in 2004 on KRS-One’s album, Keep Right. In 2011, Akbar released his second album, Planet X.
