David E Beats of The White House Band | Interview
From Washington, DC, David E Beats is a vocalist, songwriter, producer, and self-taught guitarist. In 2009, he moved to NYC to pursue his music career. Beats performed at SXSW in Texas and headlined the DIY Bushwick Music Festival. His first music video, “Maybe Tomorrow”, received rotation on VH1 Soul and was also a Top 10 ranked video on mtvU.com. In 2010, Beats formed The White House Band for live performances, with a sound combining rap, hard rock, and blues. That same year, they released The Method EP.
