DoItAll of Lords Of The Underground | Interview

DoItAll is an emcee from Newark, NJ. He is well-known as the frontman for the hip hop trio Lords Of The Underground, alongside Mr. Funke and DJ Lord Jazz. In 1993, the group released their debut album, Here Come The Lords, produced by Marley Marl and K-Def. Included on the album was the hit single, “Chief Rocka”, which was sampled for “Machine Gun Funk” by The Notorious B.I.G. In 1994, the Lords released their second album, Keepers Of The Funk, featuring the single “Tic Toc”. They reunited in 1999 to record their third album, Resurrection, and again in 2007 for the album House Of Lords. DoItAll has appeared in The Sopranos, Law & Order, Oz, and 30 Rock. He’s been featured in several independent films and currently runs a record label, mentoring up-and-coming talent.
