TheBeeShine Cypher #19: DJ Vicious Vic, A-Minus, Jae Musick, Journalist 103, Loe Louis, La Peace, Seven The General, Sunny Cartel, & Supa Emcee
Some of Detroit’s most talented and influential artists appeared in the 19th episode of TheBeeShine Cypher. Hosted by platinum producer Nick Speed who also provided the beat, this session was held at an undisclosed location in downtown Detroit. DJ Vicious Vic kept the music on track, as he’s one of the first DJs to ever spin Hip Hop music in the clubs of Detroit and Highland Park. The cypher features some influential emcees such as Loe Louis and La Peace. Both in the group Cardi Boys alongside Killa Ghanz, Loe Louis was also a highly regarded member of Laswunzout and Thirtyone Flavaz. La Peace was a member of Shadow Nation and is mentioned frequently for his freestyle battle against Eminem; one of the most talked about battle from the Hip Hop Shop days in the 90s. Supa Emceee of The Almighty Dreadnaughtz is a freestyle monster. He had just returned home from a tour in Europe with Phat Kat and stopped by to participate. A-Minus, Jae Musick, Journalist 103, Seven The General, and Sunny Cartel are all incredibly talented lyricists and important members of the Detroit Hip Hop scene.
